Born in Porto in 1979, he earned a degree in architecture from ESAP in 2004. Between 2002 and 2006, he worked with Cannatà & Fernandes, Fernando Maia Pinto, and Cirurgias Urbanas. Between 2006 and 2011, he lived in Barcelona, where he worked with Xavier Sales Associats. In 2010, he co-founded colectivoMel.

Born in Porto in 1977. She earned a degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) in 2003. During the 2000–2001 academic year, she studied at the University of Paris-Val-de-Seine in Paris.

Between 2002 and 2004, she collaborated with architect Manuel Fernandes de Sá, architects Camilo Cortesão and Mercês Vieira, architects Ana Roboredo and Joaquim Oliveira, and Atelier do Boído, in Porto and Vila do Conde. Between 2005 and 2006, she attended the Master’s program “Laboratori de l’Habitatge del Segle XXI” at ETSAB in Barcelona, directed by Josep Maria Montaner and Zaida Muxi.

Between 2004 and 2008, she collaborated with architects Jordi Hidalgo and Daniela Hartmann, architects Hernando & Saqué, and architect Xavier Sales in Barcelona. In 2008, she co-founded the collective Experiëncias Urbanas in Barcelona with Raimondo Pibiri, dedicated to participatory urban interventions. In 2010, she co-founded colectivoMel.

In 2022, she was a finalist for the W Moira Gemmill Prize.

He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) in 2005. During the 2001–2002 academic year, he studied at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Lille. Between 2002 and 2010, he collaborated at the MVCC studio (Camilo Cortesão and Merces Vieira) in Porto.

In 2002, he represented FAUP at the Les Grands Ensembles Workshop, École d’Architecture de Nancy | Archilab 2002 FRAC Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain, Orléans.

In 2003, he represented FAUP at the Dispositivo Instalação, Reciclável, Mobil, Virtual workshop in Porto, led by Jean Philippe Vassal. In 2010, he began working as a freelancer and in collaboration with the Mele Parqur Collective, and was admitted to the PhD program at DARQ-FCTUC.
In 2012, he received an Individual Doctoral Fellowship awarded by FCT, and in 2018, a Research Residency Fellowship at the CCA (Canadian Centre for Architecture) archives to research Álvaro Siza’s collection.

He has been a speaker at national and international conferences, and his work has been published in architecture and scientific journals. He is currently writing his doctoral thesis, “Critical Sustainability,” under the supervision of Jorge Figueira.
